The restaurant is amazing, even though it was very quiet and empty. You can walk to the restaurant from the main lobby of the hotel. It is right in the corner. Upon arrival, you will see the manager at the door, waiting to greet. The restaurant has balcony. If you want a good view of the place, you have to sit outside for lunch. If you are here for dinner, I recommend you to sit inside. The food is really good. It is served hot and fast. The waiters are very informative. They offer vegetarian options, with or without garlic and onion (jain). We enjoy our dinner. Highly recommended for tourist. We paid roughly 270 RM for 6 pax.
Pearl of India, you truly blew us away! All the dishes were absolutely outstanding — rich flavours, perfectly balanced spices, and beautifully presented. The chef’s special creations, from the starters to the desserts, were incredibly unique and made the entire experience so memorable. Overall, the taste was fantastic and the service was exceptional. Thank you for such a special and unforgettable dining experience. We genuinely enjoyed every moment!
I had a wonderful experience at Pearl of India. The food was absolutely delicious and reminded me of authentic Indian home-style flavors. Every dish was full of taste. The service was exceptional. The staff were warm, attentive, and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. I was also surprised to see Jain-friendly dishes clearly marked on the menu with dedicated icons, which is quite rare and very thoughtful. One of the highlights of the restaurant is the breathtaking panoramic view of Genting Highlands. It’s one of the few restaurants in Genting where you can enjoy a meal while overlooking the entire Genting landscape. The scenery makes the dining experience even more special, especially at night. If you’re staying in Genting Highlands - whether at Resorts World or Wyndham - I would highly recommend making a visit. Initially, I wasn’t sure how to get to the restaurant, so I called the number listed. To my surprise, the manager personally came all the way to the hotel reception to pick us up. That level of hospitality really stood out and made the experience even more memorable. Overall, Pearl of India is definitely a must-visit if you’re looking for authentic Indian cuisine, outstanding hospitality, and one of the best dining views in Genting Highlands. I look forward to coming back again.
Ordered shrimp biryani and samosas. Biryani was hot and spicy and with sauce it tasted very good. Also samosas tasted good but was little bit dry. The atmosphere was also good to feel eating on a hilltop and the I really enjoyed the view from the big windows. It was very quiet between the lunch and dinner time but the waiters was very prepared and friendly checking for my needs the whole time. The restaurant was also very tidy. Definitely the best meal I had in Genting highlands.
Walked in to the sounds of "Laila o Laila" and the mood went up from there. Excellent, authentic North Indian cuisine. Commendable that no over masala, chillies or spices. Authentic home food. Even the Manchow Soup was good. Lacha paratha, Roomali roti, mutter kheema, chicken momo, finish with Moong dal halwa, and masala chai Nice. Nothing over sweet, or oily A must repeat
